RESEARCH 

Kirstin has a keen interest in research and has conducted research with over 2000 school students. Her research on bullying and peer aggression in high schools involved 1200 Australian high school students. This research has been presented at Child Development conferences internationally and has been published in peer reviewed journals. Kirstin has also been involved in research projects investigating causes of adolescent delinquent behaviour, children’s understanding of promises, lying, and truth telling, and effective interviewing strategies with children. She is currently involved with evaluating the effectiveness of an innovative university run program that seeks to build resilience in adolescents in Sydney who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
